
Bhuvana Dhruva, Machine Learning Engineer
Bhuvana holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and is integral to the design and development of the cutting-edge products we develop at SmartLife Health. She is at the heart of the development of our SmartLife suite of products, using her highly sought-after skills to harness the power of data for the benefit of healthcare professionals and patients alike.

She has worked on many natural language processing projects and has authored papers for leading academic journals in the field of computer science and healthcare.

She was instrumental in building a machine learning model to improve the identification of potentially undiagnosed asthma patients in primary care which won the John Perry Prize in 2022 from the British Computer Society.

Bhuvana is passionate about using her skills to improve patient care and fervently believes that machine learning can address multiple challenges currently within the NHS.
